Paul Moerel

Managing Director

Paul began his career as a time served engineer with Shell Downstream Oil at Coryton, Essex. This involved all aspects of the petrochemical continuous process environment, including completing an HNC in Instrumentation & Process Control Engineering. Paul continued his engineering career with pharmaceutical giants GlaxoSmithKline and Pfizer.

Whilst continuing his career in engineering, he established Protec in 2004 in order to provide a range of engineering solutions to a growing customer base within the industrial commercial and domestic sectors.


Martina Moerel

Engineering Administrator

Martina began her career as a Quality Assurance Technician in Microbiology with pharmaceutical giant GlaxoSmithKline, Dartford, Kent. This involved all quality assurance aspects within a sterile pharmaceutical process environment. She also gained a BSC Hons Degree in Biological Science.

Martina continued her biological science career with the biotech company Abbott Diagnostics. She worked as a Senior Purification Technician then joined the Quality Assurance Documentation team and also compiled quality documents within the Validation Team. In 2010 Martina began working for Protec as an Engineering Administrator.
